The Lade Inn Pub and Restaurant

Great Food, Real Beer, Good Cheer

Our Bands

BARAN: Kilmarnock band and regulars at the Lade Inn for years now, they never fail to get everyone going with their brilliant musicianship using a wide array of instruments (most I have never seen before.electric bagpipe..) and their cheeky comments. Foot stomping and cheering most welcome.

HAGGERDASH: Haggerdash, a band well known in folk circles having played at many festivals, on the radio and with regular gigs covering Scotland.  A trio consisting of Billy, Davy & David from around Lanarkshire they have been entertaining crowds for years.  From traditional songs to their own creations they are always going to put a smile on your face with their tall stories or a song to your lips with their sweet music.

sannockandguitar.jpgSANNOCK : The name Sannock is an old Scots word for Sandy, and in this case solo artist Sandy Marshall 'The Scottish Songster', a versatile singer, songwriter and member of the Perthshire band Tarneybackle. With loads of excellent recordings to his name, he is always popular when he plays traditional and contemporay folk songs with favourites such as "Killiecrankie" and "Wild Mountain Thyme" to Dougie McLean's "Feel So Near" and "Ready For The Storm" .... a great range of classic songs performed with passion and panache!

PURE MALT : Pure Malt was formed by Gordon McDiarmid and wee brother Tam back in 1984, they added a farmer chiel "big Tam" Clark in 2002 with his charismatic banter, natural harmonies and Bothy Ballads.  A riotous and funny evening guaranteed with the banter between the band and audience.
One of our more recent bands Cairdeas have only been playing with us for around a year.  Singers, Songwriters and all round entertainers these boys are well known and we are very happy to have them at The Lade Inn.
A lively Scottish and Irish folk duo from Grangemouth.  Gordon and Davy have only been playing at The Lade Inn for a short time but they are very talented and we love having them play at The Lade Inn.

Music times vary slightly between bands but usually run 8.30-11.30pm

If you are in a band or know of anyone who may be suitable to play at the Lade Inn, please do not hesitate to contact us as we are always on the look out for new and old talent.
Please note in the Winter months when there are low numbers of Customers the music may be cancelled.  We therefor always recommend that you call an hour or so before the music starts to check that it is going ahead.  We thank you for your understanding.
