The Lade already has a long history of servicing your needs whether it was a cup of tea all those years ago, a quick bite en route to a fishing trip or a night long singalong. We want to retain the charm of the building and its traditional homeliness yet develop the reputation for being one of the best places to eat in the area. We're not a fancy restaurant with starch linen and posh plates, we're a quirky, cosy, warm and friendly pub with a great garden that is ideal for a family meal or a romantic dinner.
Our Environmental Commitment
We love the beautiful area we live in and want to do our best to ensure the impact we have on the environment is as minimal as possible. To reduce the amount of pollution we create from road miles and to support the local businesses in our community, we source all our produce locally wherever possible. To demonstrate our environmental commitment we are members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme, a grading scheme set up by Visit Scotland to raise awareness and support businesses that adopt green operating procedures. We are proud to announce that after less than 1 year, our hard work in turning around this established business has achieved a Silver award, obviously our goal is Gold but we will keep you updated on our developments.
For every visitor to rate the Lade Inn as one of the best experiences in the Trossach's area.
We promise to provide our visitors with a truly Scottish experience from the warm welcome on arrival, hearty local fayre, helpful advice and friendly service. We will strive to develop an environmentally-aware, efficient, profitable business, built on a superior reputation with our stakeholders that ensures our team are duly rewarded for performance and feel proud to be part of the Lade Inn.
Adventurous; the company philosophy that will demonstrate our attitude, work ethics and the services we provide our customers.
Welcoming; as we expand the business our people, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders will always feel welcomed and part of our success.
Green; from the alliances we develop, the initiatives we create, the campaigns we sponsor, the local community and environment will be integral to the issues the business supports.
